A quick carrot sambol De

I love having a fresh, bright raw carrot salad on the table to accompany all the lovely curries that I serve with rice. This dish is super easy to make, and delish.

Serves 4

Ingredients​

  • 200g carrots, peeled and grated
  • 50g red onion, sliced as half moons
  • 1 large fresh green chilli, minced
  • 1 tomato, chopped lengthwise
  • 1 tsp maldive fish (substitute: bonito flakes or remove), pounded
  • 1 tsp salt
  • the juice of 1 lime

Method

I love having a fresh, bright raw carrot salad on the table to accompany all the lovely curries that I serve with rice. This dish is super easy to make, and delish.

And just before serving, add in the lime juice and mix well, ensuring that all the ingredients are combined! Serve immediately.
